Our service starts with a pick up from your hotel in Soeul (only). Drive to Jinju province to visit the Jinjuseong Fortress, Jinjuseong is largely related with the historic victory at the battle fought in 1592 in which a Joseon army of 3,800 men led by General Kim Si-min was supported by men and women of Jinju to bravely confront the invasion of the 20,000 ~ strong Japanese force and defeated them. It is now commemorated as one of the three greatest victories Korea won against the Japanese invaders during the war. Afterwards, drive to Busan and head to Igidae Park. It is a coastal walking path famous for its panoramic view of Marine City and Gwangan Bridge. Have your dinner first before checking in to your hotel and overnight.
After breakfast, drive to Ulsan and visit the Daewangam Park, a seaside park located on the east coast. It is also home to Daewangam island, a large rock island that looks like a dragon rising up into the sky. Transfer to Gyeongju and visit the Temple of Bulguksa, the representative relic of Gyeongju and was designated as a World Cultural Asset by UNESCO in 1995. The temple was built in 528 during the Silla Kingdom. Then visit the Gyeongju National Museum and Daereungwon Tomb Complex. You can choose your preferred Hanbok (Korean National Costume) and experience to wear the Korean's traditional dress. Afterwards, drive to Cheongseongdae to visit the oldest existing astronomical observatory in Asia. It was constructed in 632-647 and was used to observe starts in order to forecast the weather. Proceed to your hotel, check in and overnight in Gyeongju.
After breakfast, transfer to Andong province and visit Andong Hahoe Folk Village, a traditional village from the Joseon Dynasty. This is considered as valuable part of Korean culture becuase it preserves Joseon period style architecture, folk traditions, valuable books and an old tradition of clan based villages. It was also listed by South Korean governement with UNESCO as one of the World Heritage SIte in 2010.Then drive to Wonju and visit the Wonju Hanji Theme Park. This theme park exhibits the history of Hanji. Leran and experience how does they make and process Hanji. Continue to Pyeongchang, have dinner first before checking in. Free time fr the rest of the day and overnight in Pyeongchang.
After breakfast and check out, stop by at a Ski Jump Tower where the Olympic Winter Games was held in Pyeongchang in 2018. Then continue drive to Gangneung, proceed to Jumunjin Seafood Market and explore, discover variety of fresh seafood. Transfer to Yangyang and have a short hike at Jujeongol of Mt. Seorak. This Park was listed by UNESCO as one of the World Heritage Site. It is also the first Korean national park to be named under the National Parlk Law in 1970. Replenish your energy through your lunch serving a set menu with seasoned wild vegetables. This ends your tour. drive back to Seoul ( only availble at T-Mark Hotel, T-Mark Grand Hotel, Lotte Hotel Seoul and Center Mark Hotel).
