Day 1: Amman Airport − Dead Sea − Petra Hotel
Welcome to Amman! Our representative meets you with a signage in front of the immigration Amman Airport. Get to know your friendly, English speaking chauffeur. Drive 1 hour to the Dead Sea beach, the lowest point on earth. Enjoy the opportunity to float in the salty water and relax before you start your 3 hours transfer to the hotel in Petra hotel. Overnight at Petra Palace Hotel or similar for the 3* category, at Petra Moon Hotel or similar for the 4* category, at Movenpick Resort or similar for the 5* category.
 
Day 2: Petra Tour − Wadi Rum Camp
Today visit the highlight of Jordan, the red rose city Petra! You are able to start as early as 06:00, but early birds, don’t forget to ask the hotel for a breakfast box the day before. Meet your local guide and pass the narrow canyon, the so called Siq, with its colourful sandstone. At the end you will be rewarded with a view of the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. Continue via the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle. After around 2 hours the guide says farewell to you at the restaurant area. You have free time to explore Petra on your own. The young at heart for instance have the chance to climb the 800 stairs to the 45 meters high Monastery El Deir. Return to the main gate. In the afternoon 1.5 hours transfer to Wadi Rum desert. Dinner and overnight at a campsite like Rum Stars or Sun City.

Day 3: Wadi Rum 3 hours jeep tour − Aqaba City − Amman Hotel
Today you explore Wadi Rum – following the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia in a 4x4 adventurous jeep tour, stopping at Nabatean rock inscriptions, sand dunes, Khazali canyon and a natural rock bridge. Hit the road to Aqaba at the Red Sea. After the visit of the Mamluk Fort, free time on your own. Stroll in the Souq, relax at a café or visit a private beach (admission fee not included). Then start a long 4 hours drive back to your hotel in Amman.  Overnight at Toledo Hotel or similar for the 3* category, at Al Qasr Metropole Hotel or similar for the 4* category, at Intercontinental or similar for the 5* category.

Day 4: Amman Hotel − Amman Airport
Depending on your departure time private transfer to Amman Airport to say goodbye.

Practical Info
  • For entry visa regularities see our blog Visa and Passport Requirements.
  • Check in time at hotels is 14:00, check out time at hotels 12:00 noon.
  • 4x4s in Wadi Rum are old vehicles without A/C and seat belt. They belong to the local Bedouin association. 
  • For camping bring torch light, toiletries and a small towel.
  • If you like to stay in a luxurious bubble tent in Wadi Rum we send you the extra costs.
  • Wear comfortable walking shoes and depending on season pack sun protection. 
  • To respect the local culture please cover shoulders and knees.   
  • For Dead Sea don't forget swimwear, flip flops or water sandals. 
  • A 700 meters horse ride from the main gate to the beginning of the Siq is included in the admission fee Petra. Horse handlers expect a tip of 3 JD per horse. Horse drawn carriage, camel or donkey ride can be booked for certain distances and paid on spot.
  • Our staff is trained to follow hygiene and safety protocols.

- After booking the tour with us online, one of our consultants will get in touch within 24 hours. You need to pay then a 25% deposit by credit card or by bank transfer. The full payment is due latest 14 days before tour start. - Cancellations or changes need to be sent in written form. Charges are as follows: • 25 $USD of the total price of the trip for cancellations from the date of booking until 31 days before departure. • 25% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 30 to 08 days before departure. • 100% of the total price of the trip for cancellations or changes made 07 to 01 days before departure or no show. - For refunds we do not cover transaction fees charged by credit card companies and banks.

I can't thank BookingJordan enough for a memorable & pleasant 4 days tour were we visited Dead Sea, Petra, Wadi Rum and Aqaba. I would like to point out to travelers how safe Jordan is, having said that our short trip surpassed our expectations, we had a lot of wonderful memories as we explore the country. The office staffs are helpful, friendly and welcoming, our private vehicle is spacious, comfortable and clean, our personal driver is funny, thoughtful and caring plus he speaks very good English and offers amazing advises. Booking Jordan offers reasonable priced tours, what I liked most is their quality service since day 1 supported by great customer service. I highly recommend this company, kudos team! I will cherished the exciting memories I had while I was in Jordan!
