Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Amman Airport – Amman Hotel
Welcome to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan! Our representative welcomes you with a signage at Amman Airport. Transfer about 45 minutes to your Amman Hotel, check in, remainder of the day free. Overnight at Toledo Hotel or similar for the 3* category, at Corp Amman Hotel or similar for the 4* category, at The House Boutique Suites or similar for the 5* category.
Day 2: Amman Hotel – Salt – Jordan Valley – Amman Hotel
Drive towards the town of Salt. Visit the shrine of Prophet Yusha or Joshua, the successor of Prophet Moses mentioned in Quran Suret Alkahf. We continue to the shrine of Shuaib or Jethro, one of the wisest and well-spoken prophets. His was active in Midian and talked to merchants to abandon corrupt practices. Afterwards drive to the Jordan Valley to the tomb of Abu Obaidah Amer bin Al Jarrah, a relative of Prophet Mohammad, one of the Blessed Ten promised to come to paradise. Visit also the shrine of the venerable companions Dirar Bin Azwar and Shurahbeel Bin Hasana. All these three Sahaba died in Jordan from the Great Plague. Return to your hotel in Amman.

Day 3: Amman Hotel – Mt Nebo – Dead Sea Beach – Lot’s Cave – Petra Hotel
Check-out from the hotel and travel to Mt Nebo. According to the Hadith God sent the angle of death to Prophet Moses, but Moses refused to die. God told Moses to put his hand on the back of an ox and for every hair that came under his hand he would be granted a year of life. When Moses knew he would die after the granted time, he asked God for his death near the Promised Land. It is said that this place was Mt Nebo. From here we proceed to the lowest point on earth the Dead Sea, where you have leisure time at the beach and the chance to float on water. We continue along the Dead Sea road to Lot’s Cave. It is believed to be the place where Lot took refuge after the destruction of Sodom and Amoura. The floor of the cave is decorated with mosaic, and it has pictures of birds and trees that describe the story of Prophet Lot. Driving southwards we reach Petra, check in to your hotel. Overnight at Petra Palace Hotel or similar for the 3* category, at Petra Guest House or similar for the 4* category, at Movenpick Resort or similar for the 5* category.

Day 4: Petra Hotel – Petra Visit – Wadi Rum Camp
This day is dedicated to the red rose city Petra, the biggest attraction of Jordan. Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and laid the foundation of a commercial empire that extended into Syria. With the guide pass the canyon, the so called Siq, to see the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. Continue via the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle. The guide says farewell to you at the restaurant area; free time to explore Petra on your own (for instance climb the 800 stairs to the Monastery El Deir). In the afternoon drive 1.5 hours to Wadi Rum. Check in your campsite like Sun City, enjoy dinner there and overnight.

Day 5: Wadi Rum 3 Hours Jeep Ride – Amman Downtown – Amman Hotel
Wadi Rum is considered as one of the most impressing desert landscapes in the world. Here still Bedouins live in a traditional way, and by 4x4 Jeep tour you discover canyons, sand dunes, Nabatean rock inscriptions and a natural rock bridge. After a long drive of 4 hours we are back in the capital Amman. If time permits visit the Citadel hill with remains from the Roman to the early Islamic period, like the Umayyad Palace, enjoying views over hilly Amman and the Roman Theatre. Definitely you have time to stroll the busy Souq passing by the Grand Husseini Mosque. Day 6: Amman Hotel – The Blessed Tree – Cave of The Seven Sleepers – Amman Hotel
We head two hours east to reach the Blessed Tree surrounded by arid land. It is believed that Prophet Mohammad rested here as a boy when traveling with his uncle to Syria. The monk Bahira recognized on this occasion Muhammad’s future as Prophet. Back in Amman we stop at the Cave of the Seven Sleepers, known as Khaf Al Raqim. During religious persecution seven boys hid in a cave, and felt asleep for three hundred years and nine days. The story is mentioned in the Quran. Return to Amman hotel to spend your last evening in Jordan.
