Day 01: Fez Airport – Fez Hotel
Welcome to Morocco! Our representative meets you with a sign outside the terminal. Transfer to your hotel in Fez. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight hotel like 4* Menzeh Zalagh.

Day 02: Fez Hotel – Meknes – Volubilis – Moulay Idriss – Chefchaouen Hotel (220 km)
Proceed 1.5 hours to Meknes, Sultan Moulay Ismail made it in the 17th century to his capital. It has with 40 km the longest ramparts in Morocco. See the famous Bab Al Mansour marking the beginning of the old city. Then to the remains of the Royal Stables, once part of the Sultan’s Palace. Up to 12,000 horses had been living here.
Next stop are the Roman ruins of Volubilis, around 30 km from Meknes. From special interest are the well preserved mosaics in the House of Orpheus, Athlete and Labors of Hercules. Close by you see the holy city of Moulay Idriss. Non-Muslims are not allowed to enter the shrines, but you can stroll in the medina and enjoy some great views. Afternoon continue to Chefchaouen. Overnight stay at hotel like 4* Casa Hassan.

Day 03: Chefchaouen Visit – Chefchaouen Hotel
Chaouen or Chefchaouen is one of the most beautiful towns in Rif, the mountainous massif which is the last rampart before the Mediterranean and the Iberian Peninsula. Chefchaouen is known by its medina of shady alleys, whitewashed houses with blue turquoise doors, wrought iron windows and tile covered roofs. The souks are decorated with their traditionally dressed inhabitants toing and froing in their straw hats. Rest of the day at leisure to explore on your own the charm and relaxed atmosphere of this town.

Day 04: Chefchaouen – Tetouan Visit – Tangier Hotel (120 km)
Breakfast and check-out from hotel. Hit the road to the small city of Tetouan, perched on the slope of a valley with a port at the Mediterranean Sea. It is a nice town of Andalusian style that seduces visitors by its meanderings, serenity, orange groves and its special ambiance. Its museums, its Mellah and craftsmanship schools evoke a rich past. In the medina you see weavers and leather workers. We continue around 60 km to Tangier at the Strait of Gibraltar. Overnight at hotel like 4* Marina Bay.

Day 05: Tangier Visit – Rabat Hotel (230 km)
Start your visit of Tangier and surroundings. Start with Cape Spartel at the extreme North-West of Africa. Time to enjoy the panorama of the Strait of Gibralta, where the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea meets. Below the Cape the Hercules Caves can be found. According to Greek mythology here Hercules separated Africa from Europe. Back in Tangier visit the Kasbah district next to the port, the old Medina with its craftsmanship shops and a magnificent minaret overlooking the sea. You will also have the opportunity to see the Grand Socco and the Mendoubia Park. After the tour you will be transferred along the Atlantic coast to Morocco’s capital Rabat.

Day 06: Rabat Visit – Fez Hotel (220 km)
Pickup from your hotel lobby to start discovering Rabat. See the exterior of the Royal Palace (El Mechouar Essaid), the official residence of the king of Morocco. Next stop will be at the 12th century Oudayas Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its surrounding Andalusian Gardens. Afterwards pay a visit to the Mohamed V Mausoleum, housing the tombs of the king and his two sons. You will not miss the Hassan Tower, the minaret of an incomplete mosque from the 12th century. Then we drive back to Fez, the starting point of your Moroccan holiday. Overnight stay at hotel like 4* Menzeh Zalagh.

Day 07: Fez Visit – Fez Hotel
Today discover Fez, the spiritual city of Morocco. With your local guide enter the bustling Medieval Medina, consisting of Fez El Bali and Fez Jdid. Fez was an important centre of education, that is why you find here many madrasas and mosques. Through winding alleys, the colours, smells and sounds, you reach the Al Attarine Madrasa and Bou Anania Madrasa. Other highlights are the Nejjarine Funduq, an example of the Moroccan riad, the beautiful Moulay Idris Mausoleum and see the exterior of the Karaouine Mosque from the 9th century. Optional you can have lunch at a traditional restaurant located in the heart of the Medina. Afternoon continue along the Souqs, to watch traditional crafts and working artisans.  In Fez Jdid see the Royal Palace and the Jewish Mellah. Overnight in Fez.

Day 08: Fez Hotel – Fez Airport
Dependent on your departure time you will be picked up from your hotel lobby and transferred to Casablanca Airport to say farewell.

Practical Info
• For 2 travelers we use medium sized cars, for 3 to 6 persons we use mini vans (check). 
• Non-Muslims are not allowed to enter mosques.
• Dress code: In general both men and women should cover shoulders, upper arms and knees. Avoid transparent and tightfitting clothes.
• In summer time pack lightweight clothes. Warm clothing is needed for the cooler months, November until March.

You need to pay then a 25% deposit by credit card or by bank transfer. The full payment is due latest 14 days before tour start. - Cancellations need to be sent in written form. Charges are as follows: • 29 $USD per person from the day of booking up to 30 days before departure. • 47 $USD per person for cancellations made between 30 to 15 days before departure. • 25% of the total price of the trip for cancellations made 15 to 08 days before departure. • 50% of the total price of the trip for cancellations made between 08 to 02 days before departure. • 100% of the total price of the trip for cancellations made less than 48 hours before departure. - For refunds we do not cover transaction fees charged by credit card companies and banks.
