Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Cairo Airport – Cairo Hotel
Welcome to Egypt! Our representative meets you at Cairo Airport before the passport control area to assist you. Cairo is a fascinating city and home to the mighty Nile, the longest and the most vital river in the world. Transfer to your hotel in Cairo (accommodation in Cairo throughout the tour not included). Check in; remainder of the day free.
Day 2: Giza Pyramids – Sphinx – Egyptian Museum – Cairo Hotel
Enjoy an amazing tour to the iconic Giza Pyramids. Khufu's pyramid is the northernmost and largest of the three. In classical antiquity it was considered as one of the Seven Wonders of the World, and is the only one to have survived. Khephren's monument can be easily identified by the casing stones that still cling to its pointed top. The much smaller pyramid of Mycerinus had not been completed by the time of the king's death. The Great Sphinx is part of the funerary complex of Khephren. Its impressive leonine body with the royal head is sculpted in an outcrop of the native limestone. Part of the face, including the nose, has been deliberately damaged. Tour to the Valley Temple. Back in Cairo visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities near Tahrir Square, which its rich collection of objects from Ancient Egypt. A highlight are the precious treasures of Tutankhamon, most famous king of the Ancient Egypt. The museum includes a Mummy Chamber with extra cost. Return transfer to your hotel in Cairo.
Day 3: Cairo Hotel – Flight to Luxor – Luxor East Bank – Overnight Nile Cruise
Transfer to Cairo Airport to fly in the morning around 1 hour to Luxor. After meet & assist at Luxor airport drive to the Nile to embark your cruise. Lunch on board. Then, start your sightseeing with the Luxor Temple, the most sacred of sites. It was conceived as a remote southern annex to the temple of Karnak, at a distance of about 3 kilometres from it. Hence, it faces the Karnak Temple, and was connected to it by a long processional avenue, flanked by rows of sphinxes on either side. Three temples of Ancient Egypt claimed supremacy over all the others: the Temple of Ptah at Memphis, the Temple of Re-Atum at Heliopolis and the Temple of Amon-Re at Karnak. Only one can be seen today in Egypt, the Temple of Karnak. The Temple of Amon-Re was the melting pot of religion and politics. Its monumental courts and halls witnessed the most critical events of Egyptian history. Dinner and overnight on cruise board like Radamis or similar in Luxor.

Day 4: Luxor West Bank – Overnight Nile Cruise
Come and see the magnificent Valley of the King’s. The most concentration of royal tombs in Ancient Egypt. It is where cut in rocks tombs for 62 famous kings of New Kingdom, they all are highly decorated and filled with priceless art work. Continue to visit the Hatshepsut temple built and named after the powerful Queen Hatshepsut the only woman who ascended the throne of Egypt in ancient times. This temple is located at Deir el-Bahari, a steep cliff in the shape of a horseshoe form a natural background to two monumental buildings standing side by side, each belonging to a different period. Last stop to pay a visit at Colossi of Memnon. The first monument one encounters on a visit to the west bank of Luxor is the site of the funerary temple of Amenhotep III. The temple itself has all but completely disappeared, but the colossal twin statues of the king, which once stood proudly in front of the entrance to the temple, are still there to greet the visitor. Back on board sail to Edfu.

Day 5: Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples – Overnight Nile Cruise
After breakfast on board we enjoy a visit to the Temple of the falcon god Horus at Edfu, one of the most important gods in Ancient Egypt. The structure is the best preserved example among the Greco-Roman temples of Egypt. It is also the repository of the most detailed legacy on matters of cult and temple function. Lunch on board while sailing to Kom Ombo. Tour to the double temple of the Hellenistic period on the eastern bank, the Temple of Kom Ombo. It is dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris. Its unique construction is an architectonic conflation of two temples in one building. Back on board sail to Aswan.

Day 6: High Dam – Unfinished Obelisk – Philae Temple – Felucca Ride – Overnight Nile Cruise
Today we uncover the highlights of Aswan. Start with the High Dam of Aswan, Egypt's modern example of construction on a monumental scale. The dam contains 18 times the amount of material used in the Great Pyramid of Khufu and created Lake Nasser, the world's largest artificial lake. Transfer to visit the Unfinished Obelisk which still lies in its granite bed in the quarry, left behind because of a severe flaw in the stone. Enjoy a marvelous tour to the Temple of Isis on the island of Philae which was famous during the Greco-Roman period. There you can see, in front of the first pylon, two granite lions. On the walls of the temple of Philae were inscribed the latest hieroglyphic and demotic inscriptions. After lunch on board do an amazing felucca ride on the Nile to see the Elephantine Island. Enjoy watching the fascinating view and the color mixing between the navy blue for the River Nile, green for land, yellow for desert and the light blue for the sky. Back to the cruise boat.

Day 7: Flight from Aswan to Cairo – Cairo Hotel
Disembark from your Nile Cruise. Transfer to Aswan airport to board your 1.20 hours flight back to Cairo. Our representative meets you and transfers you to your booked hotel. Leisure time to visit for example the Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 8: Cairo Hotel – Cairo Airport
Depending on your departure time transfer to Cairo international airport to say farewell and board your flight.
