Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Amman Airport – Amman City Tour – Amman Hotel
Welcome to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan! Our representative welcomes you with a signage at Amman Airport. Meet your friendly driver who takes you directly to the city of Amman. Short tour to visit the Citadel with the Temple of Hercules, the Roman Theatre and the wander through the hustle and bustle see of Downtown. Here we enjoy a traditional falafel meal at one of most popular falafel restaurants. Transfer to your hotel for check in. Overnight at Toledo Hotel or similar for the 3* category, at Downtown Hotel Apartments or similar for the 4* category, at The House Boutique Suites or similar for the 5* category.

Day 2: Amman Hotel – Jerash – Dead Sea Beach – Amman Hotel
Drive 1 hour to Jerash, once a member of the Decapolis, but its heyday had been under the Romans. It is considered as the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. A local guide will make history come alive. Explore the spectacular Forum, the Roman colonnaded street, the Nymphaeum, theatres and the Temple of Artemis. Lunch at a local restaurant to try the famous Mezze and Shish Taouk. Drive around 1.5 hours to the shores of the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth and the largest "Natural Spa" in the world. The salty water of the lake lets you float, not swim. The mud on the shores is supposed to have healing properties for the skin. After some leisure time at the beach return transfer to Amman hotel.

Day 3: Dead Sea Hotel – King's Way – Mt Nebo – Madaba – Kerak Castle – Petra Hotel
Check out from hotel and drive to Mt. Nebo, believed to be the burial site of Prophet Moses. If the weather allows you will have like him a view of the Promised Land. In the remains of the Moses Memorial Church, constructed in the 4th century, you see beautiful mosaics. Short ride to the town of Madaba, known for its Byzantine and Umayyad mosaic art. Certainly you see the popular 6th century map of Palestine in the Greek Orthodox St. George’s Church. If open, visit to the St John’s the Baptist Church to climb the bell tower. Lunch with some mouthwatering Kofta or Sawani at a nice local restaurant. Afterward we drive to Kerak along the famous ancient biblical caravan route, the King's Way. We have a short stop in Wadi Al-Mujib, a great wide valley with magnificent geological formation. Visit in Kerak the famous Crusader castle built in 1132/34 by King Baldwin I. of Jerusalem. Proceed 2 hours to your hotel in Petra. Overnight at Petra Palace or similar for the 3* category, at Sella Hotel or similar for the 4* category, at Movenpick Resort or similar for the 5* category.

Day 4: Petra Visit – Aqaba Hotel
Today visit the highlight of Jordan, the red rose city Petra! The city was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and founded a commercial empire that extended into Syria. Meet your local guide and pass the narrow canyon, the so called Siq, with its colourful sandstone. At the end you will be rewarded with a view of the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. Continue via the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle. You have free time to explore Petra on your own. After the tour taste Mansaf, the national dish of Jordan. In the afternoon, 2 hours transfer to your Aqaba hotel at the Red Sea. Overnight at Days Inn or similar for the 3* category, at DoubleTree by Hilton or similar for the 4* category, at Intercontinental or similar for the 5* category.

Day 5: Aqaba Leisure – Amman Hotel
Free morning to relax at the beach, have fun with water activities like snorkeling. Other options are the visit to the Mamluk Fort and the archaeological dig Ayla, a stroll along the beach promenade and the local markets. Enjoy as lunch Sayadieh, a local speciality of fish and rice. Then your chauffeur takes you 4 hours back to Amman.
