Day 01: Muscat Airport – Muscat Hotel
Welcome to the Sultanate of Oman! Meet and transfer to the 4* Park Inn Hotel for your overnight stay.
 
Day 02: Seeb Fish Market – Nakhl Springs – Bilad Sayt – Al Hamra
08:00 check-out hotel and proceed to visit the Seeb fishing village and drive to the sparkling springs at Nakhl. Drive through the spectacular Wadi Bani Auf . This stretch of graded road is very adventurous & for the physically fit only as it involves steep bends and bumpy roads. Visit the charming mountain village of Bilad Sayt where one is awestruck by the beauty of the landscape. This 70 km stretch of road continues unto the village of Al Hamra famous for its date plantations. Dinner and overnight stay at The View.

Day 03: Al Hamra - Misfah – Jebel Shams – Bahla Fort – Jabrin Palace – Al Hamra
08:00 proceed to visit the village of Al Hamra well known for clay houses. Visit Misfat al Abriyeen (Misfah) a pretty mountain village with stone dwellings still in existence. Our next stop takes us to Wadi Nakher located in the depth of our deepest canyon. While heading for Jebel Shams stop at the terrace farming village of Wadi Ghul. In the Jebel Akhdar range Jebel Shams the highest peak offers a spectacular view. Proceed on to Bahla Fort, continue to Jabrin Palace where the visitor is able to capture the medieval atmosphere and view the beautiful handpainted ceilings and carved door frames. Dinner and overnight stay at The View.

Day 04: Jabal Al Akhdar – Nizwa Hotel
08:00 visit Nizwa Souq renowned for its Friday cattle auction, intricately hand-carved “Khanjars” (daggers) and ornamental silver jewellery. Drive to the pretty village of Birkat Al Mauz. Enjoy a walk through the lush green date plantations. We proceed to Wadi Al Madeen, where the entry permits have to be shown.  From here a 36 km stretch of winding road takes one to Jebel Al Akhdar (2,000 m above sea level), the green jewel of the Al Hajjar mountain ranges, a truly unique spot in the Arabian Peninsula.  Enjoy the cool climate up in the mountains.
Al Jebel Al Akhdar is famed for its fruit orchards typically laid out terrace style along the slopes of mountains, which are endowed with natural springs and an irrigation system, called aflaj. One can view the beautiful rose gardens of the late Sultan Qaboos (entry not permitted ). The villages of Saiq, Wadi Bani Habib and Al Ain dot the landscape. The villages overlook a spectacular landscape of dramatic peaks, gorges and wadis. The roses of Jabal Al Akhdar fill the air with fragrance when in full bloom (March / April). Rose water is distilled in the homes of the villagers.

Day 05: Sinaw Market – Wadi Bani Khalid – Wahiba Sands Camp  
07:30 proceed to the Sinaw market which is a traditional old market where one can view trade in goats, guns and silver. Visit Wadi Bani Khalid one of Oman’s most spectacular wadis with its deep blue pools of water. From here we proceed to the Wahiba Sands. Visit a Bedouin family in the wilderness. Dinner and overnight stay at 1000 Nights Camp or similar.

Day 06:  Wahiba Sands – Sur – Bimmah Sinkhole – Wadi Arbayeen – Muscat Hotel     
08:00 experience the thrills of dune driving before departing for Sur. Visit the traditional dhow factory. Stop at Fins beach for a swim. Our next stop is the Bimmah Sinkhole, a spectacular limestone crater with blue green water at the bottom. At Dibab take an adventurous offroad track to visit the Wadi Arbayeen, characterized by date palms and deep pools of water. Proceed to the village of Mazara to see the Wadi Dayqah Dam before returning to Muscat.  Drop off at the hotel of your choice (accommodation not included) – our service ends.

• Dress Code: light clothes covering arms and legs; women need to cover the hair when visiting a mosque.
• Highly recommended to bring comfortable walking shoes, sunblock, sunglasses, hat and mosquito repellent.

- After booking the tour with us online, one of our consultants will get in touch within 24 hours. We inform you when all services are confirmed, and at this point we charge your credit card with the deposit. The amount of the deposit depends on your booking date. The full payment is due latest 14 days before tour start. - Cancellations need to be sent in written form. Between 21 and 14 days before tour start 50% of the entire tour price will be charged. Between 13 and 01 day before tour start 100% of the entire tour price will be charged. - In peak season the payment and cancellation policy might be stricter, depending on hotel policy. We will inform you before payment if there are any changes from our regular policy. - For refunds we do not cover the transaction fees charged by credit card companies.
