Amman City

Traveling north you have the chance to stay in Ajloun or Jerash, both locations have limited options. Ajloun Forest Reserve has cabins, in Jerash 2* hotels & farmhouse is available.

Some traveler wants to skip Amman City & chooses to stay in Madaba with hotels from 1 to 4 stars rating.

St George Church in Madaba

At the Jordan Valley area, several luxurious hotels along the Dead Sea shores exist – from 4, 5, 5-star deluxe rating, most of them has spa & health center. In Ma’in area 5* accommodation is your only choice. Driving along the Dead Sea road & still part of Jordan Valley chalet accommodation in Wadi Mujib is an option to those who like to try something different & special.

Driving southwards you may find cheap accommodation in Karak or Shobak or an interesting place to spend the night like in Dana.

Dana Nature Reserve

In the town of Wadi Musa where the popular Petra is located, you may choose among several hotels (1, 3, 4, 5 stars), B&B’s, Hostels & tented accommodations in nearby Little Petra. The options are limited compared to Amman.

Al Khazneh Petra

There is no hotel in Wadi Rum, you may select from basic Bedouin camps with private tents, sharing a shower. For those who are willing to pay more luxury camps offering comfort & style exist. 

Rock Bridge Wadi Rum 

Not far from Wadi Rum is Jordan’s only seaport Aqaba, also popular for its luxury hotels, water sports activities such as scuba diving & duty-free shopping. You will surely find the hotel or resort suitable for your budget within Aqaba City Center or in the south beach Tala Bay. It’s important to know the hotels & resorts in the city center with private beach access are of 5 or 5 stars deluxe category.
